Lil Mama just tried to explain why she pulled a mini-Kanye last night at the VMAs — issuing a non-apology for jumping on stage at the end of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ performance like she deserved to be up there.
Here’s what Mama told MTV:
“I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys. I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.”

Jay-Z on Rihanna: Imagine She's Your Sister or Mom

Jay-Z struck a serious note Saturday when asked for his words of support for Rihanna.
“This is a real situation,” he said in Phoenix at the Sprite Green presents the Third Annual Two Kings dinner with Jay-Z and Lebron James, as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend.
“You have to have compassion for others. Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that,” the hip-hop mogul, 39, continued.
Beyonce's A Little Bit Country?

These two always look so fabulous! Jay-Z and Beyoncé were spotted leaving the Spotted Pig during the wee hours this morning. Reportedly, they were enjoying a private party with some friends. And speaking of friends, some of Beyonce’s new friends, namely country duo Sugarland (remember her performance with them at the American Music Awards?), have inspired her to take a new direction musically. The latest reports tell, “Beyoncé wants to try something completely different. She is a big fan of country music and thought that would be an interesting and exciting way to go.” Making this more than just a whim, the “Bootylicious” singer phoned James Blunt’s songwriter Amanda Ghost and enlisted her to help out with the new project. An insider told press, “She contacted Amanda early this week and she is going over to work with her on it.” 
Rihanna Loves Beyonce,There's No Rivalry!

Rihanna claims that there is no rivalry at all between herself and Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles. She metions that shes in to competition with Knowles and that the rumors arent true about her trying to steal Def Jam CEO, Jay-Z from her.”She’s definitely not the enemy, it’s not a competition. I love her, I love her so much,” Rihanna told press. “I’ve bought that album (BDay) three times – because my friends keep stealing it from me.”
